How can we clear the IAS

Depends on frame of reference .If one  accepts  preparation as an enriching experience ,which broadens one ' s  horizons and make you  a more knowledgeable about our rich cultural heritage ,polity ,legal system and functioning of economy ,thus helping  become a better and enlightened citizen . Then one should value the time spent in acquiring these skills.
But if one prepares them  only from competition perspective, then may be disappointed.
